This weekends wedding was at The Plas Hafod Hotel, in Mold. The weather was perfect. I met up with Ailsa in the bridal suite for a few shots while she was preparing for the day before heading off to the gardens where Andrew was relaxing with the groomsmen. The cermony was held in the glass-roof room, which is perfect for natural light for the photographs. With the weather being ideal, we headed out into the gardens after the ceremony for some romantic shots with the newly weds, before meeting back up with their family and friends for their chosen group shots. We had a full group shot and a confetti shot – which all the ladies enjoy – before heading inside for the wedding breakfast.

The speeches had everyone in stiches with the best mans slide show.  After a break while the couple enjoyed their meal and socialised with their guests, I headed back for the evening reception and the first dance. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Fenna.

It was good to meet up with one of our previous bride and groom  and guests from previous weddings also. All in all a lovely day. Thank you for letting me share it with you.

Our latest wedding was at The Plas Hafod Hotel, Mold, Flintshire of Sue and John.

Another wet wedding in June which meant the pre wedding shots of the groom and best man had to be taken in the glass roof reception room at the hotel. a couple of shots in the bridal suite of the flowers etc and some lovely shots of Sue and her son who was to be walking her down the aisle to meet John.

After exchanging vows, my camera was ready for what was to happen next. Unknown to many of the guests, Sue & John along with their close family would be dancing back up the aisle to “All You Need Is Love” by The Beatles. FANTASTIC!!!!

A break in the rain allowed for those all important romantic shots around the gardens at The Plas Hafod Hotel and we even managed the full wedding group shot and the confetti shots before the rain returned. Although a wet day it was not possibly to dampen the atmosphere of the wedding and a lovely day was had by all.

The flowers were stunning today and this was noted by many of the guests – and they were designed by Laura of Regent House of Flowers – the colours were so vibrant and look fantastic in the photographs.
